Designed by Frank Walker, the Tombstone courthouse was built in 1882. The brick structure served as the Cochise County Courthouse until the county seat was moved to Bisbee in 1929.
The structure, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is now the Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park.
