Designed by Roy Place and completed in 1929, the building incorporates Spanish Colonial Revival and Moorish architectural styles.
Though most judicial functions have moved to the Pima County Superior Court next door, the Tucson courthouse still hosts some lower-level judicial procedures as well as other Pima County offices. The Pima County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
