Designed by Fisher And Lawrie, the Wahoo courthouse was completed in 1905.

The brick Saunders County Courthouse, a Romanesque Revival structure, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was rededicated in 2004.  Judicial functions moved next door to the Saunders County Law Enforcement And Judicial Center in 2009.
