Designed by James C. Teague and Philip T. Marye, the Romanesque Revival structure was completed in 1893 and served as the Prince William County Courthouse until 1984, when a newer courthouse opened two blocks to the west.
Currently housing the offices of the Brentsville District Supervisor, the Manassas courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmarks Register.
