A new courthouse is planned for Smith County, Texas. The courthouse will be constructed in the county seat of Tyler.
Smith County voters approved a $179 million bond package for the new courthouse in 2022. Construction is scheduled to begin later this year, with completion planned for 2026.

The existing Smith County Courthouse, designed by Thomas Jameson And Merrill and built in 1955, will be town after the completion of the new county courthouse. The demolition is tentatively scheduled for 2027.
