Built in 1974, the Tucson courthouse was designed by a team of architects, including Terry Atkinson, Place And Place, Gordon M. Luepke, Ivan A. Sarkiss, and Finigal And Dombrowski. The Pima C0unty Superior Court is adjacent to the historic Pima County Courthouse.

Photos of the Historic Cochise County Courthouse in Tombstone, Arizona. Designed by Frank Walker, the Tombstone courthouse was built in 1882. The brick structure served as the Cochise County Courthouse until the county seat was moved to Bisbee in 1929. The structure, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is now the Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park.

Preston, the red stone Flagstaff courthouse, a Romanesque Revival structure, was built in 1894, expanded in 1925, and restored by Johnson Walzer Associates in 2002. The building, a stone Classical Revival structure, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A new Mohave County Courthouse opened immediately to the east in 2021.

Though most judicial functions have moved to the Pima County Superior Court next door, the Tucson courthouse still hosts some lower-level judicial procedures as well as other Pima County offices. The Pima County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Hanssen and built in 1928, the Yuma courthouse remains open and active, though most courtrooms have relocated to the adjacent Yuma County Justice Center, which opened in 2005. The Yuma County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
