Designed by Ralph Swearingen & G.A. Hanssen and built in 1928, the Yuma courthouse remains open and active, though most courtrooms have relocated to the adjacent Yuma County Justice Center, which opened in 2005. The Yuma County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
