Capitolshots Photography’s collection of images of the Santa Clara County Courthouse in San Jose, California.
Designed by Levi Goodrich and built in 1868, the Renaissance Revival courthouse, the county’s eighth, underwent significant renovations after a fire in 1931 destroyed the building’s dome. A third story was also added to the San Jose courthouse after the fire. The Santa Clara County Courthouse is part of the St. James Park Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
