The Guthrie courthouse was designed by Patrick Henry Weathers. Built in 1907, the building served as the first Oklahoma State Capitol before the capital was relocated to Oklahoma City in 1910. The brick Logan County Courthouse, a Classical Revival structure, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
