Designed by Gunn And Curtis, the Fort Worth courthouse was completed in 1895. The Tarrant County Courthouse, a Renaissance Revival structure with walls of pink granite from the same quarry as those of the Texas State Capitol, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Texas Historic Landmark.
