Capitolshots Photography’s collection of images of the King And Queen County Courthouse in King And Queen Court House, Virginia.
The courthouse has occupied the same site since the formation of the county in 1691, having been burnt and rebuilt twice, most recently in 1866 after having been burned to the ground during the Civil War. Judicial functions have moved across the street to the King And Queen County Courts And Administration Building, constructed in 1996. Part of the King And Queen Courthouse Green Historic District, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
