Designed by HKS, Inc., the ultramodern stadium, which can hold up to 110,000 people, opened in 2009.  The largest domed stadium in the world (though it does have a retractable roof), AT&T Stadium cost over $1.1 billion to construct.

AT&T Stadium was the site of the 2010 NBA All-Star Game in February 2010, Super Bowl XLV in February 2011, the NCAA Men’s Final Four in March 2014 and the College Football Playoff National Championship in January 2015.
