Part of the Los Angeles Music Center (officially named the Performing Arts Center Of Los Angeles County), the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion was designed by Welton Becket and opened in 1964. The building has hosted the Academy Awards many times over the years. It is the current home of the Los Angeles Opera.
