Designed by Henry Hobson Richardson and constructed between 1880 and 1883, the Romanesque Revival structure also served as the Albany County Courthouse until a separate courthouse was built down the street in 1914. Albany City Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Photos of the Augusta-Richmond County Municipal Building in Augusta, Georgia. Designed by Scroggs And Ewing and Kuhlke And Wade, the structure serves as Augusta City Hall. The Augusta-Richmond County Municipal Building, which also used to serve as the Richmond County courthouse, was built in 1957.

Designed by Albert Lee, the structure was built in 1892 to serve as the city hall for the city of Whatcom, which merged with three other settlements to form Bellingham in 1903. The Romanesque Revival structure, which served as Bellingham City Hall until 1936 and which is now part of the Whatcom Museum, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Photos of East Greenwich Town Hall in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Designed by Oliver Wickes and built in 1803, the building first served as the Kent County Courthouse and was one of five buildings in each county of the state in which the Rhode Island State Assembly met on a rotating basis. The structure, which has served as East Greenwich Town Hall since 1974 and was completely restored in 1995, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Photos of Frederick City Hall, also the historic Frederick County Courthouse, in Frederick, Maryland. The Italianate structure, built in 1862, served as the Frederick County Courthouse until 1982. The City of Frederick later purchased the building and, after renovations by architect Michael Proffitt, moved City Hall into it in 1986. Frederick City Hall is part of the Frederick Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Radcliff and completed in 1870, the building served as the Dakota County Courthouse until 1974. It became Hastings City Hall in 1993. Designed by Long And Kees, the granite Richardsonian Romanesque structure was built between 1889 and 1906. Hennepin County still shares the building with the City Of Minneapolis, though the county’s judicial functions have moved to the Hennepin County Government Center. Minneapolis City Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Designed by Bakewell And Brown and completed in 1927, the building incorporates features of both Mediterranean Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. The building underwent extensive renovations between 2004 and 2007. Pasadena City Hall is part of the Pasadena Civic Center District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The building was renovated in 2010 for use as Sault Ste. Marie City Hall. The former Sault Ste. Marie courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Martin and completed in 1912, the Classical Revival structure served as the Ventura County Courthouse until concerns about safety led the county to abandon it after an earthquake in 1968. The City of Ventura purchased and restored the building, which it now uses as its city hall. The former Ventura courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a California Historical Landmark.
