Built in 1911 and designed by William Martin, the limestone structure served as the Reagan County Courthouse until the county seat was relocated to Big Lake after Stiles was bypassed by the railroad. The building, which is all that remains of Stiles, was largely destroyed by arson on Christmas Eve 1999.
