Designed by Gunn And Curtis, the Fort Worth courthouse was completed in 1895. The Tarrant County Courthouse, a Renaissance Revival structure with walls of pink granite from the same quarry as used for the exterior of the Texas State Capitol, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Texas Historic Landmark.
