Capitolshots Photography’s collection of images of the historic Monroe County Courthouse in Monroeville, Alabama.

Designed by A.J. Bryan And Co. and constructed in 1903, the Monroeville courthouse, a Romanesque revival structure, served as the Monroe County Courthouse until a newer courthouse was constructed next door in 1963. The building has achieved fame through the novel and film To Kill A Mockingbird.  The historic Monroe County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
