Designed by Wilson And Tozer and completed in 1884, the Italianate Henrietta courthouse has been substantially redesigned over the years, including the removal of a clock tower in favor of a dome. The brick and sandstone Clay County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Texas Historic Landmark.
