Renamed for Arnold in 2003, the courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Photos of the Richard H. Chambers United States Court of Appeals in Pasadena, California. Originally constructed in 1920 as the Vista del Arroyo Hotel and Bungalows, the Spanish Colonial Revival building served as an army hospital during World War II. The building remained in federal use after the war, eventually being converted to a federal courthouse to serve as the southern seat for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in the 1980s. Designed by Marston And Van Pelt, the Pasadena courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Moore, who worked upon plans originally submitted by Ammi Burnham Young, the brick Classical Revival structure, the oldest Federal structure built for civil use in Texas, was completed in 1861 after just 114 days of construction. The building served as a courthouse for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it currently is the home of the Galveston Historical Foundation.

Straddling the state line between Texas and Arkansas, the structure is the only federal building in the country located in two states. The Texarkana courthouse, a Beaux Arts structure, was designed by Witt, Seibert And Halsey of Texarkana and Perkins, Chatten And Hammond of Chicago. The federal courthouse, constructed of Arkansas limestone on a base of Texas pink granite and completed in 1933, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Texas Historic Landmark.

Designed by Skidmore, Owings And Merrill and dedicated in 1998, the federal courthouse, which houses the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, was the first to use federal design guidelines requiring separate and secure corridors for judges, prisoners and the public. The exterior of the Charleston courthouse is made of precast concrete slabs resembling limestone.
